THE HARDSHIPS AND CHALLENGES THAT DEVOUT MUSLIMS WHO SERVE UPON TRUE RELIGION ENCOUNTER IN THE UNDISTORTED PARTS OF THE QUR’AN AND THE BIBLE
Mr. Adnan Oktar’s experiencing the similar tests with the true believers stated in the undistorted parts of the Devine Books which are in agreement with our Holy Book Qur’an, is one of the most obvious demonstrations that he is a sincere Muslim who tries to practice the religion of Allah but not a leader of a benefit-oriented criminal enterprise.
Mr. Adnan Oktar repeatedly declared to lead his life by grounding on the commands and prohibitions stated in the Qur’an and to comport himself primly in this respect. Yet, he always abstains from leading a life apart from the Qur’an or dessents from the Qur’an. He recommends a life grounding on the Qur’an on all occasions and at every one of his works to millions of people and he leads his life in this way as well.
Allah gives the responsibility of “commanding goodness and being refrained from the evil” that He stated in the Qur’an to every Muslim. The responsibility is stated in a Qur’anic verse as:
Let there be a group among you who call ˹others˺ to goodness, encourage what is good, and forbid what is evil—it is they who will be successful. (Al-Imran, 104)
For that reason, Mr. Adnan Oktar has carried out intensive and far-reaching scholarly and religious activities for over 40 years from 1979 till today, and he invited people to have faith in Allah (God) and told people that there is an eternal life after death, and the only way to attain the life in Heaven is to live one’s life in accordance with Qur’anic morals.
Mr. Adnan Oktar has faced countless pressures, threats and traps throughout his life while fulfilling the responsibility of telling the message Allah has given to Muslims in the Qur'an. All tests he goes through are exactly the same as the tests that the people described in the Qur'an and all the believers experienced. The reason of the similarity is stated in Qur’an: This is Allah’s way, already long established ˹in the past˺. And you will find no change in Allah’s way. (Al-Fath, 23)
The people who practice the religion of Allah sincerely and who strive for telling the Quranic morals to people encounter and will encounter the tests which were informed in the Qur’an. This issue is a reality that Allah informed us in the Quran with the verse: Do you think you will be admitted into Paradise without being tested like those before you? (Al-Baqara, 214)
The believers would have similar tests is stated in a Bible verse as: Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. (Petrus, 5)
The tough tests that Mr. Adnan Oktar and our friends have experienced and the similar tests that the true believers who are informed in Qur’an experienced also stated in various parts of Psalm, Torah and Bible:
4 Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses; 5 in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; 6 in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love; 7 in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left; 8 through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report; genuine, yet regarded as impostors; 9 known, yet regarded as unknown; dying, and yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed; 10 sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything. (Corinthians, 2)
Mr. Adnan Oktar and his group of friends experienced almost all the hardships and tests which were also stated in the Bible. Yet, along with some commands and statements depraved in time, in the Divine Books there are many parts about principles of faith, prayers and about the good morals of believers of Allah (God) in agreement with the Qur’an.
Of course, the tough tests Mr. Adnan Oktar and his friends went through show a great resemblance to the tests that the prophets, saints and true believers went through as described in the verses of the Qur'an and the true verses of the Bible, not that they were extraordinary or chosen people, but that it is a manifestation of their sincerity, their sincere commitment, piety, and it is an indication that they put the gladness of Allah above everything.
As a matter of fact, if Mr. Adnan Oktar's aim was to enjoy, to joy, or to gain worldly and material benefits, as it was claimed by some ulterior motives who seek to slander and create a negative public perception, it would not have been possible for him to face similar big tests, which are in great parallel with the verses.
MR. ADNAN OKTAR’S LIFE THAT IS FORMED IN LINE WITH QUR’AN VERSES
Mr. Adnan Oktar, at first, started to tell the invalidity of Darwinism, the existence and oneness of Allah to the people around him in Mimar Sinan University in an environment where there was a disrespect to religious and moral values and where it was almost totally denied, where the materialistic notion was dominant.
During this period, he was the only student to openly pray at the Molla Mosque next to the university. He prepared a scientific booklet called "The Theory of Evolution", in which he made a scientific critique of Darwinism and he financed it by using a legacy he had inherited from his family and distributed it to university students free of charge.
⫎ Having Been Attempted To Be Killed and Attempted To Be Assassinated
Some militant students at university told Mr. Adnan Oktar; had he not terminated his activity, he would have risked his life and they publicly threatened him. This incident is the beginning of the ongoing course of nonstop menace and intimidation until today as well.
There have been countless assassination attempts directed to Mr. Adnan Oktar until today. Currently, he is in the execution list of the terrorist organizations such as the ISIS, PKK, DHKP-C. Hence, due to the death threats, an offical guard was allocated to him by the Government on the grounds of “life safety” short before the police operation dated on 11th July 2018.
All these experiences are in direct resemblance to the verses of the Qur'an in which the death threats of the Prophets and righteous Muslims who were determined to preach the true religion are described. In a Qur'an verse, it is stated that Prophet Shuayb wanted to be killed by his people because of his preaching of the True Religion:
They said, "O Shu’ayb, we do not understand much of what you say, and indeed, we consider you among us as weak. And if not for your family, we would have stoned you [to death]; and you are not to us one respected." (Hud, 91)
Some of the verses of the Bible that are compatible with the verses of the Qur'an informing that those who preach the true religion are intended to be killed are as follows.
18 For this reason they tried all the more to kill him. (John, 5)
19 Has not Moses given you the law? Yet not one of you keeps the law. Why are you trying to kill me?” 20 “You are demon-possessed,” the crowd answered.(*) (John, 7)
53 So from that day on they plotted to take his life. (John, 53)
In the Torah, Prophet Daniel’s and his friends’ wanting to be killed due to preaching the true religion is stated as:
12 This made the king so angry and furious that he ordered the execution of all the wise men of Babylon. 13 So the decree was issued to put the wise men to death, and men were sent to look for Daniel and his friends to put them to death. (Daniel, 2)
⫎ Insanity Smears
All believers who stand firm about sagacity, sincerity and determination to follow Allah’s path, particulary prophets and the guardian servants of Allah exposed to the “insanity” smears throughout the history.
Our prophet was also attacked by extremely improper and flagrant smears like being a “wizard”, “oracle”, “poet”, “insane”, and by those dirty methods they tried to defame him in the eye of the society. Allah warned people against the smears with the Qur’an verse: "Have they not ever given it a thought? Their fellow man is not insane. He is only sent with a clear warning. (Al-Araf, 184) and he stated that there is no sign of insanity in these holy people.
– In 1987, a conspiracy was set up against Mr. Adnan Oktar to put him in a mental hospital.
Mr. Adnan Oktar was slandered as insane with a fabricated "paranoid schizophrenic" report. However, the invalidity of this slander was later documented by dozens of medical and scientific institutions, especially GATA, as well as by professors, academics, specialist doctors and psychiatrists. Unfortunately, despite the fact that its invalidity has been proven many times by dozens of medical reports, the slander that Mr. Adnan Oktar is insane has been tried to be brought to the agenda even in the court case.
The main purpose of these allegations is not to claim that Mr. Adnan Oktar is insane, but to be able to make people disregard his ideas and thoughts with this perfidious method. However, as always, these traps of the unbelievers turned against them, and the love and the countenance of the Muslims to Mr. Adnan Oktar increased many times over when they see that the slanders against the prophets, saints and scholars throughout history are tried to be thrown against him in the same way.
Casting aspersions of insanity on prophets, on devoted and sincere believers was also stated in Torah as:
11 And Jehu went out to his master's servants, and one said to him, "Is all well? Why did this madman come to you?" And he said, "You know the man and his speech". (Kings, 9)
20 Many of them said, “He is demon possessed* and raving mad. Why listen to him? (John, 10)
48 The Jews answered him, “Aren’t we right in saying that you are a Samaritan and demon possessed*?” 49 “I am not possessed by a demon,” said Jesus, “but I honor my Father and you dishonor me. (John, 8)
(*) Telling a person demon possessed means to attribute insanity to that person.
⫎ The Youth Supporting Him
Regardless of all the threats and pressures he sees, Mr. Adnan Oktar, showed the existence of Allah, the proofs of creation, the fact that the Qur'an is the Book of Truth, the exemplary morality of our Prophet (saas), the moral values revealed by our Lord (Allah) in the Qur'an, materialism, atheism to those around him and he continued to explain the scientific invalidity of Darwinism and the distorted ideologies attached to it, the love of the homeland and the nation, and the importance of following the footsteps of the great leader Atatürk.
A few years later, a few young people studying at Mimar Sinan University decided to stand by and support Mr. Adnan Oktar in his intellectual struggle. Later on, his young friends, who gathered around him on the occasion of his scholarly and faith activities, started to support his activities intellectually.
Allah informs us in a Qur’an verse that young generations are more eager, willing and inclined about having faith in Allah (God) and practicing the true religion when they are invited : "But no one believed in Moses except a few youths of his people, while fearing that Pharaoh and their own chiefs might persecute them." (Yunus, 83)
This reality is pointed out in the Bible as:
16 the Angel who redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth. (Genesis, 48)
I raised up some of your sons as prophets and some of your young men as Nazirites. Is this not the case, Israelites? This is the Lord’s declaration. (Amos, 2, 11)
⫎ Despite The Torments and The Distress He Exposed, He Did Not Give Up The Qur’anic Cause
Hereunder the period of his religious service which started in Mimar Sinan University that was called as “Academy” in the past, Mr. Adnan Oktar was initially imprisoned with the intent of hampering his actions about faith, by the fabrication and false allegations, unjustly and unlawfully, then he was sent to lunatic asylum.
In the following years, though tens of news were made against him, the oppressions and menace carried on, he carried over his actions of serving faith both by talking to people face to face and by means of publishing leaflets, journals and books. In the Bible, the similar hardships and tortures that the people who had faith in God encountered was stated as:
For you yourselves know, brothers, 1 that our coming to you was not in vain. 2 But though we had already suffered and been shamefully treated at Philippi, as you know, we had boldness in our God to declare to you the gospel of God in the midst of much conflict. 3 For our appeal does not spring from error or impurity or any attempt to deceive, 4 but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not to please man, but to please God who tests our hearts.
For you, brothers and sisters, became imitators of God’s churches in Judea, which are in Christ Jesus: You suffered from your own people the same things those churches suffered from the Jews.(Thessalonians, 2)
In 1990s, Mr. Adnan Oktar’s young friends carried out an extensive and broadspread religious service in order to tell people the existence of Allah (God), the evidences of creation, the miracles of Qur’an, Islamic religion, the voidness of Darwinist- materialistic philosophies in accordance with a Qur’anic verse as “And as for your Lord’s blessing, proclaim it!” (Al-Duha, 11) in well-known districts of Istanbul at that time such as Bağdat Street, Bebek, Etiler, Florya, etc. and in educational institutions such as Boğaziçi University, Istanbul University, ITU (Istanbul Technical University), Mimar Sinan University, ... in the most popular holiday centres of that period such as, Bodrum, Uludağ, Bayramoğlu, Silivri, ... Within that period, some of them exposed to oppressions and hinderence by their immediate circles and by their families however, they never gave up their cause.
As Mr. Adnan Oktar and his friends went on their religious service, the level of tests that they encountered increased. Just like Prophet Jesus and his apostles and just like the people who served the religion of Allah (God) throughout the history, they were raided unjustly, were threatened, their property was looted, they were threatened with death and were imprisoned for many years. Still, they are kept in penal institutions as a consequence of a gross oppression and injustice.
The hardships that true muslims faced in every time period is also stated in various parts of the Bible as:
32 Remember those earlier days after you had received the light, when you endured in a great conflict full of suffering. 33 Sometimes you were publicly exposed to insult and persecution; at other times you stood side by side with those who were so treated. 34 You suffered along with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions. (Hebrews, 10)
4…we speak as those approved by God. 14 For you, brothers and sisters, became imitators of God’s churches in Judea, which are in Christ Jesus: You suffered from your own people the same things those churches suffered from the Jews. (Thessalonians, 2,4-14)
3 Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. This is my gospel, 9 for which I am suffering even to the point of being chained like a criminal. But God’s word is not chained. (Timothy, 2)
10 You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance, 11 persecutions, sufferings—what kinds of things happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra, the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them. 12 In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, 13 while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. (Timothy, 3)
Similar to the events stated in verses in the Qur’an, Mr. Adnan Oktar and his friends declared that despite the injustices and oppressions they experienced, they will not give up their true path, they will keep on showing love to eachother, unlike some of their friends, they noted that they will never give up going hand in hand until they die. By clarifying what they did is not offense by evidently, they stated that they will always continuoe to preach Allah, the evidences of criation and Qur’an verses, and they are determined to do it.
24 Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, 25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. (Hebrews, 10)
⫎ Mr. Adnan Oktar’s and His Friends’ Efforts To Spread Islamic Morals
Prophet Noah who spent most of his long life by preaching Islam, is one of the best examples with his patience and determination about it. The preaching that Prophet Noah did stated as:
He cried, "My Lord! I have surely called my people day and night, but my calls only made them run farther away. And whenever I invite them to be forgiven by You, they press their fingers into their ears, cover themselves with their clothes, persist ˹in denial˺, and act very arrogantly. Then I certainly called them openly, then I surely preached to them publicly and privately, saying, ‘Seek your Lord’s forgiveness, ˹for˺ He is truly Most Forgiving.'" (Nuh, 5-10)
In the narration of the verses, there are instances about Prophet Noah’s warnings and recalls day and night, secretly and publicly, individually or all together.
Mr. Adnan Oktar followed a similar path by taking Prophet Noah as example and with the religious, scholarly, intellectual activities and events that he carried out with his friends, they analyzied the most vital issues for our country, for the Islamic world and for all mankind and kept them in the agenda perpetually.

‼️ Refuting the theory of evolution which is the so-called scientific basis of the atheism, materialism, irreligiousness and atheist-materialist ideologies,
‼️ To tell the hazards of the PKK and communism,
‼️ The British deep state, which is the chief architect of all the strife, exploitation, wars, the shed blood, misery, poverty, destruction in the Islamic geography, oppressions, massacres and turning brother against brother in the Islamic world, is the center of the Anti-Christ (Dajjal) today,
‼️ The significance establishing the Turkish-Islamic Union, teaching and practicising the Islamic morals to all people,
‼️ The benefits of building good relations with the People of the Book,
‼️ Islam and terror can never be related,
‼️ To establish the atmosphere of love and brotherhood among all Muslims,
‼️ The significance of art, aesthetics, science, culture and quality to the Islamic world
‼️ The significance of the Unitary State, the love of country and nation, the national conscience, Kemalism
In addition to earlier days of the these religious and scholarly activities that took place in the form of face-to-face conversations, Mr.Adnan Oktar and his friends later applied to different methods and narrative techniques that they thought were effective and beneficial.

⫎ The Hostility of the Traditionalist Religious Fanatics to Mr. Adnan Oktar
It is not just Darwinists who see Mr. Adnan Oktar and his activities as dangerous for them. Prior to the police operation on 11 July 2018, some radical factions advocating the traditional understanding of religion also targeted him. They accused Mr. Adnan Oktar, who defended that living according to the Qur'an is sufficient to live the religion, of changing their religion (contrary to the Qur'an, based on traditions and superstitions.).
However, Allah informs us by the Qur’an verses that following the path of the forefathers is not sufficient to find the right way as: "When it is said to them, 'Follow what Allah has revealed' they reply, 'No! We ˹only˺ follow what we found our forefathers practicing.' ˹Would they still do so,˺ even if their forefathers had ˹absolutely˺ no understanding or guidance? (Al-Baqarah, 170)
37 I know that you are Abraham’s descendants. Yet you are looking for a way to kill me, because you have no room for my word. 38 I am telling you what I have seen in the Father’s presence, and you are doing what you have heard from your father. (John, 8)
(*) The Prophet Jesus says that he did what Allah commanded.
On the other hand, this bigoted group who promoted the traditional religion, forbade themselves and the people the things that Allah let them do by interpreting the religion in a way contrary to the Qur'an, yet, they themselves did not even comply with this deviant religion they had invented.
The Qur'an describes this attitude of the bigots as follows:
As for monasticism, they made it up—We never ordained it for them—only seeking to please Allah, yet they did not ˹even˺ observe it strictly… (Al-Hadid, 27)
The prominent representatives and promoters of the non-Qur'anic bigoted mindset in Turkey that we mentioned made numerous provocative and defamatory news and publications against Mr. Adnan Oktar on their own media outlet. Bloody terrorist organizations such as ISIS and Al-Qaeda, which adopt a bigoted and perverted understanding of religion that is completely against and contrary to the Qur'an, have also included Mr. Adnan Oktar on their death list.
The bigoted mindset is one of the tests that prophets have encountered throughout history. For Prophet Jesus, too, a great campaign of incitement was carried out to turn the people against him. It was said that Jesus was doing things contrary to the existing traditional religion, and it was burst out that he was trying to corrupt and destroy the religion.
Since Prophet Jesus was not alone, those with him were also included in these aforementioned heresy slanders, and they were all described as a "sect":
5 For we have found this man a plague, a creator of dissension among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes. 6 He even tried to profane the temple… (Acts, 24)
⫎ Arrest Operations and Trials on False Accusations
In every era, there have always been opposing satanic movements, hostile people and circles against those who strive to preach the True Religion. This hostility took the form of putting the state forces into action by provoking the regime of the period from time to time. After an intense campaign of provocation with the allegation that the current religion was not followed, the Muslims who preached the true religion of Allah were caught and neutralized. An example of this is given in the Torah as:
8 At this time some astrologers[b] came forward and denounced the Jews. 9 They said to King Nebuchadnezzar, “May the king live forever! 10 Your Majesty has issued a decree that everyone who hears the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe and all kinds of music must fall down and worship the image of gold, 11 and that whoever does not fall down and worship will be thrown into a blazing furnace. 12 But there are some Jews whom you have set over the affairs of the province of Babylon—Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego—who pay no attention to you, Your Majesty. They neither serve your gods nor worship the image of gold you have set up. (Daniel, 3)
The raid which was carried out by the police to Mr. Adnan Oktar had been carried out to Prophet Jesus similarly in the past .
The armed and well-qualified soldiers who had been in the same league of a security force at that time crowdedly took action to catch Prophet Jesus in a lush garden:
1… On the other side there was a garden, and he and his disciples went into it. 2 Now Judas, who betrayed him, knew the place, because Jesus had often met there with his disciples. 3 So Judas came to the garden, guiding a detachment of soldiers and some officials from the chief priests and the Pharisees. They were carrying torches, lanterns and weapons. (John, 18)
It is seen that the tyranny always prevails in the arrest and detention of people who preach the true religion. For example, in one verse, Prophet Hud drew attention to the savage and tyrannical attitude of blasphemy by saying to his people, "And act so viciously when you attack ˹others?” (Ash-Shu'ara, 130)
In a Bible verse it is stated that Prophet David praised to Allah (God) for the tyranny that he exposed to as:
3 He is my God, my strong stone— in him I will find my refuge—my shield, the strength[e] of my salvation, my high tower,my way of escape, and the one who is saving me.You will save me from violence. (Samuel, 2 / 22)
The rage of the enemies of Prophet Jesus was so great that they not only tried to kill him, but also targeted and imprisoned his followers (apostles) and then brought him before the High Council to be tried.
The students of Prophet Jesus were seen as dangerous and threatened by the committee they set up to stand trial, with the idea that they would affect the public:
15 So they ordered them to withdraw from the Sanhedrin and then conferred together. 16 “What are we going to do with these men?” they asked. “Everyone living in Jerusalem knows they have performed a notable sign, and we cannot deny it. 17 But to stop this thing from spreading any further among the people, we must warn them to speak no longer to anyone in this name. (Acts, 4)
The council had to release the students of Jesus, whom they threatened, because they were not guilty of any crime:
21 After further threats they let them go. They could not decide how to punish them, because all the people were praising God for what had happened.” (Acts, 4)
However, despite this release, it is not possible to say that the messengers gained their freedom completely. Because the arrest operations carried on to win the hearts of those who promote the traditional Jewish faith:
27 When two years had passed, Felix was succeeded by Porcius Festus, but because Felix wanted to grant a favor to the Jews, he left Paul in prison. (Acts, 24)
The anger towards Prophet Jesus was so strong that they even forbade the judges' followers to preach religion by mentioning Prophet Jesus' name. However, they were not satisfied with this, they tortured Prophet Jesus' apostles:
27 The apostles were brought in and made to appear before the Sanhedrin to be questioned by the high priest. 28 “We gave you strict orders not to teach in this name,” he said. (Acts, 5)
39 … So they were convinced by him. 40 After calling in the apostles and beating them, they again[o] ordered them to stop speaking in the name of Jesus and let them go. (Acts, 5)
Likewise, today, there is a mind-blowing period of persecution and lawlessness, in which an investigation is launched even against the people who made a laudatory and loving expressions about Mr. Adnan Oktar.
Similar to the people who follow Prophet Jesus are wanted to be portrayed as if they have nothing to do with religion; Mr. Adnan Oktar and his friends have been slandered such as not being a Muslim, even trying to change or corrupt religion, despite their sincere piety and all their religious activities for 40 years.
2 They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God. (John, 16, 2)
⫎ The Smears and The Ones Who Left
Today, Mr. Adnan Oktar is accused of the baseless smears by whom he sees as his brother and with whom he has been shoulder to shoulder for years.
The reason for these people's betrayal is "53 So from that day on they plotted to take his life." (John, 11, 53), as it is also stated in the Bible verse, they are used as a kind of a hitman for the organization that the deep state has established against Mr. Adnan Oktar. Various deep state informants and agents were used against him in this conspiracy and he was targeted in this way.
This case shows similarities to the things Prophet Jesus came over in the Bible.
57 But the chief priests and the Pharisees had given orders that anyone who found out where Jesus was should report it so that they might arrest him. (John, 11)
The operation to locate and apprehend Prophet Jesus was also reported by one of the secret hypocrites followers. In the Bible what Prophet Jesus said about those from his close circle who betrayed him is stated as follows:
16 The first time I was brought before the judge, no one came with me. Everyone abandoned me. May it not be counted against them. 17 But the Lord stood with me and gave me strength so that I might preach the Good News in its entirety for all the Gentiles to hear. And he rescued me from certain death.* 18 Yes, and the Lord will deliver me from every evil attack and will bring me safely into his heavenly Kingdom. All glory to God forever and ever! Amen. (Timothy, 4)
A similar statement at the beginning of this Bible verse, "May it not be counted against them", also took place in Mr. Adnan Oktar's trial. He has repeatedly stated that he believes, his friends who testified against him were forced to slander as a result of the pressure, threat and intimidation by the conspirators, that he had no complaints from them and that he did not want them to be called to account.
As it is known, those who made false accusations and slanders against Mr. Adnan Oktar in order to benefit from the effective remorse, gave false statements against them so as to escape from trial and prison even though they knew that their 30-year-old friends, with whom they spent a lifetime, had never committed any crime. In the Bible, it is reported that there are people who speak against each other just out of fear of being judged or punished:
9 Don’t grumble against one another, brothers and sisters, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door! 10 Brothers and sisters, as an example of patience in the face of suffering, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord.” (James, 5)
12 Live such good lives … that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us. (Petrus, 2)
⫎ The Real Reason of the Accusations and Unfair Trials
As in the Qur’an, the situation of people who are wrongfully accused and slandered for crimes they did not commit just like Mr. Adnan Oktar are described in the Bible and in the Torah as well.
The common feature of all these people who have been persecuted and wronged is that they preach the true religion, they oppose to the superstitious and deviant beliefs and practices, bigotry, superstition which were added to the true religion subsequently, yet, they promote the Divine Book and the True Religion, and are declared guilty because they are seen as opposed to the existing traditional understanding of religion.
In a Torah verse it is stated that, though the innocence of His Holiness Daniel was very well known, he was tried to be shown guilty in order to be sentenced somehow at all costs by the rulers of that period:
Then the viziers and the satraps sought to find a pretext against Daniel regarding the kingdom, but they could find no pretext or fault because he was trustworthy, and no error or fault was found about him. Then those men said, "No pretext can be found about Daniel, but we shall find [a pretext] against him concerning the law of his God. (Daniel, 5-6)
Both in Qur’an verses and in the Bible, the true believers who advocate, practice and preach true religion will encounter several distress and hardships, however; it is advised that they ought to welcome the tough tests with resolution, wisdom and determination. At the end of all the hardships and distress, it is promised to sincere believers that they will have salvation, happiness and comfort, and countless rewards and goodness in this world and hereafter.
As a matter of fact, many blessed prophets such as Prophet Abraham, Prophet Joseph, Prophet Moses and Prophet Jesus, all exposed to unfair practices, oppressions, intense prosecutions and custody, adjudgements and convictions merely because they preached, supported the religion of Allah, and they struggled against the religion of bigotry which had combatted Divine Books.
The most evident features of such conspiracy cases are that innocent Muslims are systematically prevented from defending their right to a fair trial, not even being given the right to speak, and being subjected to all kinds of restrictions, injustices and unlawfulness:
50 Nicodemus, who had gone to Jesus earlier and who was one of their own number, asked, 51 “Does our law condemn a man without first hearing him to find out what he has been doing? (John, 7)
In a Bible verse, injustices and preventions such as confining the websites where Mr. Adnan Oktar's conversations are broadcast, the television channel where he broadcasts live shows, and trying not to let him speak in court are pointed out as:
20 Many of them said, "He is demon-possessed and raving mad. Why listen to him?" (John, 20)
⫎ Allah’s (God’s) Assistance, Salvation and Acquittal To the Sincere Believers
Despite the unfair and unjust trials, Allah (God) eventually saved His Prophets from the hands of enemies and by altering the aggravated circumstances against them and it all went in favor of them, it was revealed to the entire world that they were innocent and mistreated, and they were honoured by people’s great love, reliance, admiration and favour. It is pointed out in a verse in Torah as:
“13 Better a poor but wise youth than an old but foolish king who no longer knows how to heed a warning. 14 The youth may have come from prison to the kingship, or he may have been born in poverty within his kingdom. 15 I saw that all who lived and walked under the sun followed the youth, the king’s successor. 16 There was no end to all the people who were before them.” (Ecclesiastes, 4)
When the predestinated time period was over, Allah (God) released Prophet Joseph from the dungeon and made him the ruler to Egypt, although Prophet Abraham was thrown in a giant blazing fire, Allah rescued him safe and sound, without getting harmed since he made no concessions from his trust in God and his devotion to Allah (God) and assigned him as a leader to Muslims, He rescued Prophet Moses and his tribe under the circumstances which seemed to be the most desperate and He rescued them from the captivity and oppression of Phroah, also Allah rescued Prophet Jesus from the hands of hypocrites and deniers and ascended him in His presence. Allah (God) rescued our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) from the intense oppressions and torture of polytheists and bestowed him a great victory and conquest.
Also, there has been no change in the way of Allah for many and countless prophets such as Prophet Noah, Prophet Lut, Prophet Hud, … and for many more righteous believers. They all stood up the toughest tests succesfully, victoriously, with an exemplary faith, with reliance and patience and they attained to Allah’s mercy and sake, His heaven, and great blessings in the world and hereafter. In spite of the hundreds even thousands of passing years they have never been forgotten, yet, they are always remembered by all people, all true believers, all members of the divine religions in glowing terms, with respect, love and honour.
3 We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters,[b] and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing. 4 Therefore, among God’s churches we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring. 5 All this is evidence that God’s judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering. 6 God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you 7 and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well.” (Thessalonians, 1)
The ones who inflicted the vilest cruelty, injustice and torture to the immaculate and blessed people were broke down to the eternal torment of Hell by the wrath and curse of Allah (God), they were loomed over a hideous filth and infamy and they were dispised and disgraced till the end of time not only in this world but also in the hereafter.
⫎ Conclusion
Although Mr. Adnan Oktar has never got involved in a single crime in his life, he does not have a criminal record and he is entirely innocent;
➤ In the conspiracy trial that he has been tried by the accusations such as “setting up an armed criminal enterprize”, based upon merely by the intangible and fabrication statements of the complainants and based upon their slanders which are unjust, unevidenced, baseless,
➤ By having been subjected to countless and horrendous unlawfuless and injustice during the course of the police operation, custody, investigation and trial,
➤ By having been sentenced with TENS OF THOUSANDS of years of imprisonement unprecedented in history,
➤ By having been kept in penal institutions for 4.5 years unjustly and unlawfully,
➤ Merely on the purpose of cruelty and torture, he was constantly moved across Turkey from-end-to-end, almost like an exile, to the penal institutions that is thousands of kilometres away from the place where he, his family and his kinspeople live
and hundreds of oppressions, injustices and unlawfullness he suffered as these are only the consequence of the difficult tests that Allah gave to His blessed prophets and gurdian servants, whom He loved and approved of and who preached the true religion, manifested on them as a sincere and devout believers.
As a matter of fact, the great scholar of the last hijri century Bediuzzaman Said Nursi also was accused –similar to Mr. Adnan Oktar– of founding as though an organization and being the leader of the organization, he was imprisoned in a mental hospital, allegedly engaged in prostitution and drinking alcohol, and was under the wrath of other religious communities and sects. However, today his holiness Bediuzzaman enshrined in the hearts of all Muslims all around the world, yet the people who tyrannized him, who agonized him and who cast aspersion on him are doomed in hearts forever.
Mr. Adnan Oktar withstands all the injustices that he and his friends encounter as Allah recommends to all believers in our Holy Book Qur’an and in the undistorted parts of the holy books in agreement with Qur’an, first by relying on the justice of Allah, then by relying on the Turkish justice, he believes that their innocence will eventually be proven.
